Description

Spokewise is the toolbox every cyclist wishes they had in one place. Log your rides and it tracks wear on your chain, cassette, tyres, brake pads, cables and servicing, so you can see what needs attention before something fails on a ride.

The gear calculator takes your chainrings, cassette, wheel, tyre and cadence, then shows your speed in every gear. It's useful for comparing setups before buying parts, or for working out what you'd need for a hilly event.

The tyre guide suggests front and rear pressures from your weight, tyre width and riding surface, in bar and psi, using a fit to the common 15% tyre-drop guideline. The fuel planner works out food and water for a ride from its length, effort and temperature.

It's plain JavaScript with no server or running costs. It's a natural add-on for a bike shop, which could rebrand it and add its own service booking link.

Known limitations

All figures are starting points. Wear distances vary with riding and weather, so parts must also be checked by eye, especially brakes and steering. Tyre pressures must stay within the limits printed on the tyre and rim. Fuel figures are general guidance, not medical advice.
