Last Light
Keep the lamp burning on a storm night. Your beam guides ships home, but it also wakes the wreckers.

Description
Last Light puts you in a lighthouse on the worst night of the year. Ships drift in from the dark, lost and heading for the rocks. Shine your beam on one and its captain finds their bearings and steers for the nearest harbour. Leave a ship in the dark too long and it runs aground.
You can't light everything. The wide beam is short, and holding to focus it reaches right across the sea but burns oil fast. Every moment you spend on one ship is a moment another drifts toward the reef.
Then the wreckers arrive. They're dark hulls with a faint red ember, and they only come alive when your light touches them, turning to hunt the nearest ship. Leave them in the dark and they slip past for a small bonus, so the beam has to dodge them as carefully as it finds everything else.
Each night brings more ships, more rocks, wind and rain. Bringing ships home in a row builds a score streak, and three wrecks puts the light out. Plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript on a canvas, with no server or running costs and mouse, touch and keyboard controls.
