Description
Grand Finale takes seconds to learn. Drag to aim, let go, and your fuse sets off the first firework it hits. Sparks set off the next one, and the next, until the whole harbour sky is alight. The sound climbs with every link in the chain, the screen shakes, the crowd roars and your score counts up.
Under that simple shot is a real strategy game. Each launch scores Sparkle times Mult, and every act has a higher target. Between acts you spend gold on 18 rule-changing recipes and extra shells, so one run might stack Rings for huge multipliers while the next makes every ember bounce. Twists such as rain, crosswind and soggy crates arrive every third act, and reaching the twelfth act is a real achievement, with an endless encore for anyone who survives it.
It's built to be shared. Today's show gives everyone the same sky and one try, with a spoiler-free coloured result to post, like a daily word game. Any run becomes a challenge link: the friend who opens it gets the exact same sky and your score to beat. There's also a score card image, plus streaks, a personal best and a recipe collection to bring people back. All of it works without a server, because the whole game runs from one seed.
Everything is drawn and synthesised live, with no image or audio files, so it loads fast and runs in any browser on phone or desktop. It's plain JavaScript, with the rules kept apart from the graphics, so it's easy to reskin, sponsor or wrap as a mobile app. There's no pay-to-win or forced ads in it, which leaves the choice of business model to you.

- No accounts or cloud saves: progress stays in one browser
- A run in progress is lost if the page closes
- No ads, payments or app store build
- English only
- The sound has only been checked automatically, so tune it by ear
- Difficulty was tuned with bots: a strong bot reached the finale in 2 of 40 runs. No people have played it yet
- Touch aiming hasn't been tried on a real phone

Setup requirements
Upload the files to any static web host. To try it locally, run python3 -m http.server and open http://localhost:8000. Run the tests with npm test (Node 20 or newer).
Dependencies and ongoing costs
None. It's a static site that runs free on any web host, with no server, image or audio files.
Known limitations
Nothing can guarantee a game will go viral. The sharing and return-visit features are in place, but real traction depends on marketing and on real players. The daily show uses the player's local date, so people in different time zones get a new show at different moments. On hosted demos, progress doesn't persist between visits, because the demo blocks browser storage.
