Arcflare Atlas

AI generated. A circular paddle arcade game with six moving crystal rounds, manual or assisted steering, multiball upgrades, charged pulses, saved runs and illustrated atlas records.

Description

AI generated. Keep a small light in orbit by steering a paddle around a circular arena. Return the ball through moving crystal formations, build a chain of breaks and clear six constellations. The final round adds a tough center core.

Read the formation as you play. Glass breaks quickly, armour reduces impact damage, Nova crystals burst into nearby targets and Veil crystals accept ball damage only during their bright rhythm. A fully charged pulse reaches outward from each active ball and can strike a dim Veil.

Between the first five rounds, choose one of three seeded upgrades. Increase impact, widen the paddle, launch extra lights, expand pulse reach, strengthen hull or turn faster. Gentle mode starts with a broader paddle and six hull. Optional steering assist follows predicted returns and nudges rebounds toward crystals. Manual steering is always available.

Original constellation art and optional synthesis accompany responsive controls, a projected return guide, pause, explicit JSON saves and PNG atlas records. There is no online score service.

Setup requirements

Open index.html or serve the folder with any static web server. Launch the light, keep steering assist enabled while learning or steer manually. Use a charged pulse near crystals and choose an upgrade after clearing each of the first five rounds. Save explicitly before closing. Run node tests.cjs for physics and scripted run checks.

Dependencies and ongoing costs

A current browser with JavaScript and Canvas 2D. Optional sound requires Web Audio. No external runtime library, paid API, account server or network service. Node.js is needed only for development checks. Static hosting can be supplied by the buyer; no hosting purchase or recurring service is included.

Known limitations

This is an independent solo browser arcade game with six rounds per atlas and a 150 second active play limit per round. Crystal motion and circle collisions use a fixed 120 Hz model rather than a general rigid body engine. Steering assist follows free flight return predictions and aims toward remaining crystals; it does not guarantee success. Manual input disables assist until reenabled. The return guide ignores future crystal collisions. Pulse damage can reach dim Veil crystals. Nova bursts damage nearby crystals but do not trigger further Nova bursts. Losing individual balls in multiball preserves hull until the last ball escapes. Scores, saves and atlas cards are local, editable and unverified. No automatic storage, network or competitive anti cheat is included. Save limit is 1 MB. Physical touch hardware, gamepad, extended assistive technology sessions and broad browser performance are unverified. AI generated disclosure is visible in the game and listing.
