Tip Pool Splitter

Split pooled tips fairly by hours and role, with every calculation shown so nobody argues about the numbers.

Description

A focused web app for restaurants, cafes and bars that share tips. Enter the shift's total tips and each person's hours; the app works out every share instantly.

Roles carry a weight (for example Server 1, Busser 0.5), so you can match your house rules. Shares are calculated in whole cents and always add up to exactly the total, and each share shows its calculation (hours × weight = points, share of the pool).

Save shifts, see each person's totals for this week or any date range, export the history to CSV, copy a summary for the staff group chat, or print it.

Built as plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no server or running costs. A good starting point for a tips product, or a ready tool for a single venue.
