Description
AI generated. Quiet Anvil is a standalone browser tool for shaping the dynamics of short mono or stereo recordings.
An original stereo linked peak detector drives a hard or soft knee compressor with attack, release, detector high pass and offline lookahead. Input trim, makeup, parallel blend and an optional soft output curve complete the path.
Inspect actual calculated reduction over time and a static transfer curve, loop original or processed audio, save recipes and export the full processed buffer as IEEE float WAV at its decoded sample rate. Three original source programs and four recipes are included.

Technologies
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Audio API
Setup requirements
Open index.html or serve the folder with any static HTTP server. Use a deliberate play action to enable audio.
Dependencies and ongoing costs
No third party libraries, paid APIs or required services. A current Web Audio capable browser is required. Optional static hosting can be free.
Known limitations
AI generated standalone browser file processor. Inputs are mono or stereo, up to 12 MB and 30 seconds with browser dependent codec support. Controls rebuild an offline result; the preview loops that result. Lookahead reads future detector values without adding leading silence. Output safety is a nonlinear curve and can add harmonics. Disabling it can produce out of range float samples. Monitor scaling does not alter export data. Hosted file operations may be restricted.
