Description
AI generated by Codex for Shai. PlotPocket is a working prototype for fiction writers who think in scenes, with a warm paper canvas, serif headings, beat-colored index cards, and small curated writing prompts.
Capture a premise and organize up to 300 scenes across three acts. Give each scene a beat type, point-of-view character, summary, word target, and manually entered drafted-word count. Edit, reorder within an act, or move a scene between acts.
Search scene details, filter by point of view, follow overall drafting progress, and export a complete Markdown outline. Printing and JSON backup/restore are included. Writing sparks are fixed curated prompts selected at random; there is no runtime AI service.
The buyer receives editable source, core tests, setup documentation, and deployment configuration. Private source handover is arranged by the seller; hosting-account transfer and ongoing support are not included.

Setup requirements
Unzip the source. Run python3 -m http.server 8080 in the app folder and open http://localhost:8080, or deploy the folder to a static HTTPS host. No build or API key is needed. Node 20+ can run the included test.mjs. See README.md for app-specific limitations and QA.md for validation.
Dependencies and ongoing costs
No third-party libraries, paid APIs, backend services, or sample packs required. Uses built-in browser features and system fonts; all visual styling is original code. Static hosting may be $0/month within free-tier limits; paid hosting, traffic overages, and custom domains may cost extra.
Known limitations
Working prototype for outlining, not a manuscript-writing or publishing platform. Word counts are manually entered estimates. Writing sparks are curated fixed prompts, not live AI responses. Up to 300 scene cards. Browser clearing can lose data; export backups. No independent security audit or broad device/browser certification.
